By 4pm you're a different person.
Your shoes were fine at eight. Your rings went on Monday and not Thursday. There are sock marks around your ankles and your jawline has quietly gone somewhere.
You got dressed three times this morning and ended up back in the thing you always wear. You angle away from the camera now, and you hate that you do that.
And the part that actually gets to you is not how you look. It is not knowing which version of your face is going to be there when you wake up.
"I'm the same weight I was two years ago and I do not look the same."
You have cut salt. You have cut sugar. You drink three litres a day. You added cardio and you kept it up, and it worked for the weight, and it did almost nothing for this.
There is a reason for that, and it is not your discipline. You have been aiming at the wrong substance.
